  • Love it!

I use my mint app each day to track spending and have always had an easy experience. I love the ability to see the graphs or charts to measure exactly where money is being spent. The tips and suggestions offered are actually helpful. I highly recommend this app to build a strong relationship with your money.

Latest version will not open at all on my iPad Pro. It crashes when starting.
  • Overheats on iPhone X.

I just switched to the X from a Samsung S8 and have had endless troubles with Mint on iOS. It causes a serious overheating issue on my X - the last time I tried to open Mint and check my BofA account, I had to close the app because I was so worried about a processor meltdown. Also, Mint took one step ahead and four steps back with the current design of the app. Why can’t I see a pie chart of my budget any more? It feels like my overview page is now one big ad for credit cards and other irrelevant offers. 1/5 stars until improvements are made.

  • Getting worse and worse

Mint started out great, but failing fast. New releases now break existing features. All of their developers need to use these tools to run their lives, then, maybe, they’d be less careless!
  • I used to love this app

I started using Mint because my bank didn’t really do mobile very well. I’ve used it for probably four years now and always loved it, until recently. Besides the fact that it’s constantly sending me emails AND notifications, my main problems are that it will never update to accurately reflect my bank account and I have to constantly re-login to my billing accounts. This has been happening very frequently over the past few months and I’m just over it.
  • Budget app should add right

So this is free. And it connects to my accounts which is good. But it often adds up items in a budget category incorrectly. And lately when I click on a transaction, the screen that should let me update the category is blank. Which forces me to use the web browser version. Sigh.

Mint is the perfect tool to keep track of 100% of your finances. Want to track your net worth and credit for free Mint is perfect. Saving goals, monthly budgets, pay bills, get reminded about bills. It's customizable and intuitive. It has gotten better over time. It used to be that you struggled to keep all your accounts synced, mint has improved the reliability. Of 20+ accounts, maybe one or two need to be fixed a year. Even your Lowe's card now syncs with Mint. I only give it 4 stars because I wish I could pay to remove recommendations but that really isn't that annoying, it's less like a ad and more like an adviser showing you tools on how to save money. One thing I wish the app could do that you can do on the web version is reset the monthly rollover budget for a category. Like if you went over on groceries last month and you need headroom this month, I have to go to the web version to reset the budget to zero without the overage carrying over from last month. Good job mint team! Can't wait to see how you integrate mint and turbo tax in the future. One more request, add net worth to the trends within the App, web version has it app does not. Important to ensure it always is going up!

Intuit, you guys need to pull it together. This app locks up and renders itself completely unusable. I had to remove it after 10 minutes of frustration.
