  • Game could be great but needs completely new balancing.

As of Jan22, 2018 this game gets a 1 Star until the developers fix the broken Hailstorm Unit, allowing banning in 1v1, and bring back arena. Was such an awesome game until the balancing issues got horrendously bad. Old Review as of Dec 28th 2017 Hey Redtides Team, I have been playing your game for a while now. I consider myself pretty solid in understanding the game and I enjoy the content and the strategy within the gameplay. I also enjoy you all updating the game frequently. However, these newest updates with additional units you added changed the game mechanics unbelievably. The new Terran unit (Hailstorm) is broken. I have no clue how you guys thought having that much range was fair. I love games like redtides but what is the point of having multiple classes when one beats the other just based off of unit power? And for tips to beat them in your description it says use charge units and try avoiding the rocket barrage. Atlac don’t have charge units and the best advice you give is try avoiding the barrage? The Terran were already super strong and now it’s unbelievable how strong they are. And then you give the hailstorm the ability to attack air as well? Here’s the truth the Yaoguai need huge buffs, the Atlac were strong in speed and resource collection but now has no answer to Hailstorms, and the Terran have always been strong and now they are even stronger with only one unit. Really the Terran already had the longest range in the game with siege tanks, how are you going to give them another longer range unit? I appreciate your constant updating the game but please do consider the balance of the game when you do. I am at the point now where I don’t even want to play 1v1 anymore unless I use the best units because I know that’s how you win (meaning using the Hailstorms). It barely has anything to do with Strategy now. Going forward how are you as a team going to keep this game balanced and actually have it deal with skill not just spamming two units with one of them being the Hailstorms? A redtides fan who is worried, GQ

I LOVE THIS GAME! It’s fun, well balanced, and well made. It’s literally one of those few games I play everyday before bed. Well done!

Great game overall, cool concept. Some things that can be changed: 1. During mid-game, the cost for the troops is kinda small, could be bigger. 2. New menu music. It’s a little annoying. Maybe edit that also. 3. Maybe... edit the main menu overall. It’s just really weird to look at.

This is my favorite mobile game. You can choose to play as three different armies and they are all well balanced. There are multiple ways to play and to win. You can pay to unlock all the different units earlier but it doesn’t really give you an advantage because every unit has a weakness that you can exploit. You can buy the units to gain access to them early but that’s it. There’s no super unit that you can buy to guarantee victory. The in game currency is easy to earn and so it’s easy to unlock units just by playing for free. It’s all about strategy and it’s extremely fun.
  • I like it a lot

It scratches a very particular itch. Rather fast paced, and surprising victories do happen. I’m having fun with it so far.
  • Excellent alternative to Starcraft

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of a weeks and I am in love with the concept of it. The game has a slight starcraft feel to it which makes it perfect for me. Thanks Devs! Looking forward to what’s on the horizon for this game.
  • Not fun anymore. Balance issues.

Loss after loss after loss. Games barely fun. Having matches being lost by wave 20. I don’t know what the issue is. No matter what race I play. What set up I use. Dropping more stars. Since the last update it’s just worse. Recently lost a match on wave 26. Fix or I delete the app. Major balance issues. You can get paired with random people that have no sense of strategy and just deploy all of the same units. Or against people that have clearly spent money to have an advantage. Or teammates go AFK. There’s a really annoying strategy people employ at the start of matches where they’ll call in cloaked air attack units that are almost impossible to counter at the beginning. Unless your early game basic infantry units happen to target air units. Which very few do. Some of these units are really overpowered for early game waves. They destroy the middle objective at the start extremely quickly. I don’t know if it’s a matchmaking issue. People spending money. I have no idea. But losing 10 times in a row isn’t fun.

One of the best free app games I’ve found. They are putting a lot of time and effort in to better gameplay and continue to add content to to keep you on your toes. You don’t have to watch advertisements or spend any money to play with the diehards. It’s fun for all skill lvls and the graphics are great!
